Looking for an outdoor space to do exercise or a playground to take your kids to, then head to Karori Park. A decent size playground, and it has a flying-fox. There is also a fairy lane trail towards the forest at the back the park, where kids can follow the track and look for fairy doors, made and placed there by locals. There is a 1km running track around the main park, and different exercise equipment plotted around the track.

Karori Park has a 1km track around the outside for walking or easy cycling, plus a children's playground and cafe. Great for families. You can catch a bus from by the Karori tunnel, walk up in 25 minutes or drive as there is plenty of parking.
