You can walk to Dorking high street in under 10 min from the flat. Lots of quirky shops and restaurants. There is a big Waitrose, Marks and Spencer’s and Sainburies within the town and a Lidl supermarket located in Vincent lane. West Street has antique shops and a museum. There are several cafes and restaurants to try. Dorking Halls has a cinema and other event on throughout the year. Please check their website. Dorking sports centre has a swimming pool and other sports facilities.

Dorking is the nearest town to the cottage. It has all Amenities… supermarkets, Small independent shops such as coffee, cafes and boutiques. Dorking is well known for its antique shops. Great for a meander. There are also art galleries and a Saturday market.

Another lovely market town about 20 minutes drive. Great for eateries and antique shops. While you're out that way it's worth exploring some of the surrounding villages such as Coldharbour/Leith Hill and Shere and of course Denby's vineyard with restaurants/shop.

Wonderful little market town. Famous for antique shops, caves, museum and vineyard! Local supermarkets, post office lots of cafes and restaurants. Waitrose and Sainsburys. Free parking at Waitrose.
