Don't let the location's burger joint retro-fit space fool you. The sushi is quite good. I recently went there with some high-falootin' San Fransisco asian movie producers and I thought that they would be critical of the place. They were. They critically-acclaimed it. They talked about the food the rest of the night.

Fresh fish with a fusion twist! You wouldn't guess it, but Yellowfish has some of the best quality sashimi in town. Try the salmon tower!

I am a big fan of sushi, I am Asian and I am all about rice all day everyday. :D I have eaten at so many sushi places in San Antonio but this is by far my most favorite one in town, their fish supplier comes from Groomer's Seafood, which is the top fresh fish wholesaler in San Antonio. You can really tell the difference. I grew up in the Philippine Islands, so I am very picky about fish. Go fresh or go home.

Yellowfish is one of the top rated sushi places in San Antonio. It features a JapaMex menu and definitely a very San Antonio.
