Wonderful park for hiking, biking, walking, snowshoeing, disc golf. You can take a tour of the Ames Mansion where locals of ames shovel fame, Oliver and Blanches Ames lived.

Historical Ames Mansion. Lots of trails and woods to walk. Very peaceful area. Locally known for the filming of Shutter Island, Mermaids and the new Ghostbuster's movies.

This is a gigantic state park with tons of trails for hiking and biking as well as a disc golf course.
