I was impressed when I saw a customer order a mojito and the bartender went outside to pick fresh mint from their little herb garden, where everyone sits. I thought that was a nice little touch. This is a neighbourhood cocktail bar that attracts an arty crowd from the nearby Camberwell Art College. It’s very cool and vibrant—not swanky at all—and I like that about it. They have happy hour 6-7pm on weekdays when the drinks are crazily cheap. I have had many great espresso martinis here.

Better for the weekdays as it can get super busy in the weekends but it’s a nice place for cocktails!

The real deal of cool railway arches bars. Attracting a young creative crowd Bar Story has great cocktails and local brews. On chilly evenings the bar staff light big half drum fires.
