Great place to visit while in downtown Minneapolis, even if you aren't seeing a show. The building offers cool features to enjoy, such as the endless walkway and amber room. With fun outlooks and murals you can easily spend an hour just looking at the architecture and taking pictures. Gold medal…
The Guthrie Theater, founded in 1963, is a center for theater performance, production, education, and professional training in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The concept of the theater was born in 1959 in a series of discussions between Sir Tyrone Guthrie, Oliver Rea and Peter Zeisler.
The theatre, the theatre.....this is the theatre. The building is quite a feat to be enjoyed, with the long escalators; remeniscent of the Tate in London; to the overhanging deck where you can enjoy a drink and watch the river roll by. A truly enjoyable evening to be had.
Fantastic view of the river from up on the bridge. Parking by the river, just a couple of quarters are needed. See the US Bank Stadium from the 6th Floor. Walk out on the Cement Bridge to get a high up view of the Mississippi. Great Skies! See the famous, St. Anthony Falls!
