Great walks, well set up for BBQs, bird watching. Very picturesque. Lots of native wildlife right up close - say CHEESE!
Tower Hill is just a short drive along the highway, heading west of town. You can spend the day exploring the dormant volcano site, or simply drive in and around the park. But with picnic tables and bbq, toilets and ample parking, I recommend a good couple of hours, at least, to enjoy the reserve…
