If you like ruins, Byblos Citadel is a nice treat. It's located in a friendly area; surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. If you make the trip there, you should check out a nearby small shop that displays / sells some fossils. It is impressive.

I would recommend you try: Chicken Shawarma Falafel Pies: great for breakfast, my favorites are cheese pies and Thyme (Zaatar) and Labneh. They are called "Manoushe" in Arabic. They are open 24/7”
