The oh-so-popular gym adjoining the Bondi ocean pools might be the busiest of its kind in Sydney. A lot of athletes come here to train, so there’s good equipment. It’s a bit like the equivalent of LA’s Venice Beach, but in Sydney. I usually incorporate a workout session in the gym with a soft-sand run and then a swim. Weekends here are extremely busy, particularly Sunday afternoons, and you’ll find a lot of posers vying for space to get the perfect Instagram photo. Visit off-peak, on a weekday—it’s quiet and a completely different story.
Stunning ocean pool, go here for a quick dip or to do some lengths. There's also a gym and a sauna.
Located at the southern end of Bondi Beach, Bondi Icebergs Club is an international landmark, and no trip to Sydney is complete without a visit to our pool and clubhouse. Bondi Icebergs has been the home of Winter swimming since 1929 and our famous pool is open to visitors all year round.
World famous salt water pool with epic views and the best sauna in the world!
Icebergs Pool – Stunning Olympic size ocean pool. My favorite place in Bondi.

“Located right on the beach, doesn't get closer to the sand than Bucket List. Is great both in the day time or for a night time drink. ”

“A bit of an institution where they mash up some pretty funky flavours. Carole’s favourite is white chocolate and salty caramel!”

“When long-time surfer Eugene Tan began emailing photos of the waves and surfers of Bondi Beach to friends some 14 years ago, he had no idea his little project would evolve to anything as big as Aquabumps. Today, 51,000 people subscribe to his daily email newsletter – featuring pictures he’s taken that morning in Bondi (or, if on holidays, in Tahiti, the Maldives, Fiji...) – and thousands pour into the gallery to see the images up on the wall. There’s been a book – 2010’s A Day at Bondi – and there’s another one on the way in October. And there’s a partnership with Havaianas: the new line of Aquabumps thongs come out in August. Why did his little project take off? “It’s been popular because it’s grown organically,” says Tan. “It’s a hand-selected group of likeminded people who all have one thing in common: they love the beach."”
