On this hike, you're in the sun for a while and then it's very green and it gets a little shaded. You do cool things like crossing the stream on a fallen tree. Then suddenly it opens up and there's a beautiful waterfall. Until the rapper The Game took me on this hike I had no idea that it existed. To know that people like him are hiking in Pasadena is incredibly cool. Pack a swimsuit—most people that visit jump in for a dip.

Easily accessible and easygoing trail. Follow the sound of water flowing through the forest floor to the waterfall. Crowds can be crushing on the weekend.

Nice easy hike. A few areas- moderate. Getting to waterfall is worth the hike. Nice views of the canyon and LA.
