Approx. 21/2 hrs away but a great day out. Start with a trip down the river and see the turtles and ruins of Caunos in the surrounding rock face. Visit the beach where turtles lay their eggs.

You have to leave your day to see Dalyan canals and rock tombs and ofcourse Caretta Carettas. It has 12km sandy beaches

A great place for a day trip - excellent souvenir shopping, hand made ethnic jewellery, riverside stroll, fish restaurants, take a mini tour with a mud Bath upriver, or catch a river boat downstream on Dalyan delta, passing famous Kaunos tombs, relax some time on Iztuzu's protected sandy beach, made famous by Kaptan June who kept it natural so caretta caretta turtles can breed here. Visit the turtle rehabilation centre by bus from Dalyan's otobus park.
