The Bread and Puppet Theater (often known simply as Bread & Puppet) is a politically radical puppet theater, active since the 1960s, currently based in Glover, Vermont. With Spring and Summer shows and a museum to visit, it is a popular destination in the area.
The Bread and Puppet Theater was founded in 1963 by Peter Schumann on New York City’s Lower East Side.
