Perisher is our pick of the mountains for skiing and snowboarding, with lots of great runs to cruise down for an enjoyable day on the slopes. Please note, if you are not driving a 4WD, chains must be fitted to tyres to gain access to the resort. Alternatively, guests can drive 19km in a standard car…

2.75 hours by bus (Murrays bus tour packages available) or car (snow chains required). Stay in Canberra to take advantage of local eateries and shopping and affordable accommodation, but head off for snow play without the huge overhead expense of the chalets and resorts.
