If you'd like to disappear for a drink, head to Vernon's Speakeasy. There's no sign. Just knock on the door under the red light. When they ask for a password, tell them, "Joe sent me," and you'll be admitted to the bar. Live music most nights.

What's that password???? Dimly lit, low key and quiet upscale experience with great dishes and drinks.

Are you a cop? We ain't got time for cops! Knock on the door and you better know your password or you're not getting into this speakeasy! It's one of my favorite "step-it-up" restaurants for a very nice dinner. I like to go right when they open...I'm usually the only one in there, it keeps things simple that way. I don't like to be recognized. ;)
