Gallo brillo is the restaurant of an old friend of mine, Stefano. You can tell him you come from Sistina 107/Giovanni Segre and he will make you a special price. Gallo brillo offers traditional roman plates but with a touch of modernity that is really good. try mussels as appetisers!

Good and cheap. The label in the map tells "Ristorante cinese" but it's not updated. One of my favorite. Homely cooking, old fashioned look, young owners. Try "Strangozzi allo stracotto".
