The Berlin Wall Memorial commemorates the division of Berlin by the wall and the victims of the Berlin Wall. It includes the Chapel of Reconciliation, the Berlin Wall Documentation Centre, a 60m long section of the border fortifications, the window of remembrance as well as the Visitor Center.

The wall memorial walk starts at the end of Schwedter Str. You can walk it down until Nordbahnhof and then catch the subway to Brandenburger Tor (3 stops).
Visit the open air museum and learn about the time when Berlin was divided into east and west.
What remains of the Berlin Wall today? Besides being the visible memory of one of the darkest pages of our history, it is considered one of the most important open air art galleries in the world, where significant events take place during the year.
