This street is great for shopping mostly shoes and clothes. You can also get a coffee or a glass of beer/wine in one of the 'brown' bars. Also some good restaurants in the Utrechtse straat.

Very nice, luxurious but hip shopping street. Also some nice bars and restaurants are located here.

One of our favourite streets in the city center of Amsterdam is the Utrechtsestraat. Filled with nice shops, restaurants and other hotspots. Because whether you’re looking for food hotspots or concept stores, the Utrechtsestraat has it all!

“Hard to put this one into a category, since it is basically everything. Good for some typically dutch food like a stroopwafel and great coffee places all around. Also possibly the best place to get some good deals on fruit, veg, fish and nuts. Generally something to see, walk around, hear market people yell in Dutch and meet all kinds of people and you can buy less standard souvenirs as well.”

“At this small square you will find a lot of Amsterdam people heading out to have their ''borrel'' together. For example at Mash (bar) they have amazing cocktails and snacks. Try the snack platter and enjoy a dark 'n stormy here. It is also just around the corner of the famous Albert Cuyp-market (which closes around 5 or 6 pm). ”
