Go to the beach! Worthing is very quiet in comparison to nearby Brighton & you can always find an empty bit of beach! It’s pebbly but when the tide is out there’s sand & loads of rocks where you can find crabs & other little sea creatures. Help yourself to buckets & spades.
lovely walks,scooting,skating,riding or running along the promenade as well as beautiful seaviews,rocky beach and the Worthing Pier. You also have a few eateries along the seafront and many pop up take away vans along the way. You can enjoy watching the sun set throughout the promenade.
You can hire paddle boards here on the seafront, play on the slot machines and enjoy fish and chips on the beach - the seafront is lovely and much quieter than Brighton during the Summer months,
Worthing has a long pebble beach on both sides of the pier, backed by a promenade with cosy copper-topped shelters. Maybe the prettiest part is to the east of the pier, for its imposing Georgian and Victorian townhouses around Steyne Gardens and monuments like the Dome Cinema. A bit further along…
