There is a bigger parking lot on Laurel House Rd. The trail from Laurel will take you to the top of the falls first and then down. If you get there very early you can park off 23A

Well-groomed trails and man-made stairs (lots and lots of stairs) make a once rocky hike more accessible, but the path is still steep and you’ll still want sturdy shoes. Exercise caution and do not hike past the designated trail. This is a destination nature place that attracts many. it seems to be overcrowded during the weekends and makes the narrow mountain road to be challenging to navigate. The views however are gorgeous and you can enjoy a scenic ride or your time during the week days.
