Cove Island is a great beach and park for family and friends. During the summer, the beach is open for swimming or kayaking. The island also allows bike riders and a good 1 mile walk. There is also an ice rink right next to the island which is open for the public during specific hours.

Stamford's most beautiful park. Has a swimming beach with lifeguards, changing rooms, and snack bar. Great for kite flying. Note: they charge a parking fee in June, July, and August.
