Gastro pub - part of indy chain - a great community pub - organic beer, wine, good food til 10pm & cool local - also go to it's sister Red Lion, & the new Wild Goose Bakery on Leytonstone High Road !

This is the best 'traditional' pub in Forest Gate. Worth a punt.

On our door step and well worth a visit. Fantastic restaurant at rear of pub with daily changing dishes. The roasts are very good and they have a large selection of ales. Almost every night they have something going on from live bands or themed nights on wkd's to open mic and book reading sessions or jazz dance lessons midweeks. Garden and patio at the back
