About one-hour scenic drive from the Village of Cong. The National Park offers a great place for a picnic and has a number of different walks catering to all abilities. Stunning views from the top of Dimond Hill. Bring suitable clothing and footwear.

Something for everybody, learn about the natural heritage of Connemara, take a trek up the Diamond, various level of abillity. relax in the tea shop see a video, or join one of the guided nature walks.

Entry to the park is free. There is a cafe, children's playground and picnic area, an exhibition in the Visitors Centre and guided walks if you wish to learn more about the biodiversity of the Park. You can also do self guided walks and see some Connemara Ponies and donkeys and cattle here. …
