Wonderful Tauranga Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in New Zealand. Take ample snacks, food, water, sunscreens - no shops or restaurants there.

If your heading back to kerikeri or south and have time turn off left at the Whangaroa one way bridge and follow the coast/scenic road home it eventually loops back out before Waipapa but every beach is beautiful on this road especially Tauranga bay get out and go for a walk to the northern end through the cave
