“Okay, this place is worth the 20-35 minute drive to Santa Monica. The selection of chicken and waffle dishes are AMAZING. They have outdoor tables so you can enjoy the sunny California weather while brunching. I take my friends and family here whenever they're visiting LA. The prices are about middle of the road ($18 for chicken and waffles) but the dishes are quite large and we always have leftovers to take home. ”

“O'Briens Irish Pub is located right on Wilshire and 26th street. It is an Irish themed pub with good, affordable food. The staff are clearly happy working here and do their best to make everyone feel welcome. There is Irish music every Sunday evening and trivia on Monday nights at 9 pm. Bring your Trivia team (up to 6 people). There is no entry fee for trivia and $100 first prize in cash.”
