Climb the dune climb and let the kiddies run back down as fast as they can. For a workout, hike all the way to Lake Michigan.

You have to see this dune! Wonderful views of Lake Michigan You need more than one day to see all of the Dunes. The Dune climb for kids, will tire them and you out. Better to not try to get to the beach from the dune climb...it's long and there are many more big dunes before you even get to the beach. Good Harbor beach is great...Look for petosky stones ...but leave them behind as it is a National park.

Beuatiful Views and wonderful place to visit. Can hike or drive to different area and look outs.

This overlook, 450 feet above Lake Michigan, provides a magnificent view of the shoreline. If the visibility is good, to the south you can see Empire Bluffs 4 mi. away and Platte Bay 9 mi. away, both within the 106 square miles area of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
