A local favorite to watch sports. About 15 min drive. Been there since the 1800s!

At the opposite end of Washington St. from Local sits the oldest bar-restaurant in the city. A speakeasy during Prohibition, Donovan is now famous for its clam chowder--one of the best this New Englander (Nick) has ever tasted.

...this is a mainstay on the corner in the heart of South Norwalk and you will find many shops, bars and restaurants along the length of Washington Street.

It's been in business since 1898. How many restaurants can say that? It's actually pretty affordable for the area but still very dependable food. Pub style food but also good seafood specials.
