Magnificent Hiking (summer, fall) or winter sports all just 36min up Mt Washington in Strathcona Park. If you enjoy being close to the birds, Whiskey Jacks will eat out of your hand. Take water, hiking poles and a lunch to enjoy a short or long day at the mountain top. Another must see for outdoor enthusiasts.

Enjoy a fun day in the mountains! Ski, Snowboard, Snowshoe, Cross-counrty and Snow-tubing are all available at Mt. Washington...not to mention some of the most breathtaking views! (approx. 50 min. drive)

Much more than a ski hill, there are great trails to hike, snowshoe or cross country ski, it all depends on the season.

There is so much to do at Mount Washington year round. Enjoy nordic and alpine skiing, tubing and apres skiing at Teddy's Bar and Grill. You'll also find that in the Alpine store are essential grocery items that you can purchase should you have forgotten anything for your stay.

A must in winter. Skiing, snowboarding, nordic and snowshoeing. Very scenic.
