Great local hike to the highest point in CT. You'll have panoramic views of the area, and a good view of the farmhouse from the top.

Hiking on the property is great but if you want to go on a long hike we’ve listed our top three favorite ones! All State Parks are $10 weekdays and $15 weekends Bear Mountain Mount Riga State Park is the highest peak in Connecticut at 2,316 feet. Steep in sections with beautiful vistas and 6 miles roundtrip. Cool off after at Riga Falls2 hour drive $15

It's just a quick hike to this awesome swimming hole. If you've been dreaming of swimming at a waterfall...I don't think you can swim at Kent falls anymore.
