It’s in trendy Hackney, heated, and open all year until 9 pm—no wonder this 50m pool wonder is so popular. Queues can stretch round the block in summer. The pool itself is a glory in any season, but for me it has a special magic on floodlit winter nights, when steam rises off the water into the darkness. The pool is an outdoor swimming success story. It was saved from demolition by a dedicated 18-year campaign and reopened in 2006. There’s a café, with more reasonable prices than many others in the area, and a large sunbathing area too.

This is a nice and local outdoors swimming pool, and it's heated so you can swim throughout winter. In the summer be mindful it gets very busy so choose your slot carefully (the earlier in the day the better)

The only open air 50 m 'Heated' swimming pool in London. GO early morning or during week days to avoid queues. Fabulous experience to be in water with the stars stretched out or with views to London sky. Occasionally you may even want to sunbathe on its paved surroundings, but is very loved by…
