Ammos Beach Bar is located on Mackenzie beach in Larnaca. The restaurant specializes in Greek cuisine. The bar offers a wide variety of alcoholic and soft beverages. Music shows, including DJ sets, start in the evening. Free WiFi.
Located at Makenzy beach, busy throughout the year. Offers - Good food, prices are a little bit more at the higher end. - Events and party (greek and international Djs events and performers) at least once every week - Regular commercial DJ music throughout the week in the nights.
All day venue, great music, drinks, atmosphere and food. Right on popular Makenzy beach.
This is one of my favourite places. Enjoy the day at the beach with cocktails, have a romantic dinner at night and go there on Sunday for an all day party! This place has amazing food and has something for everyone right on the beach!

“For a traditional Cyprus meal, and a place which the locals favour, visit Melitzis. This is the place to try out Kleftiko, a meat dish, either lamb or beef, which is cooked over many hours in traditional clay ovens. The restaurant is about a 10 – 15 minute walk away from the flat. Head for the promenade, pass the Medieval castle and carry on walking along the seafront until you see the restaurant in front of you on the right. Sunday lunch time is usually very busy and it is advised to reserve a table 24 655867”

“Located in its own square in the town centre, the magnificent stone church of Agios Lazaros is one of the most remarkable examples of Byzantine architecture in Cyprus and lies over the tomb of the saint. Built by Byzantine Emperor Leo VI in the 9th century, the church was restored in the 17th century. Although the three domes and original bell tower of the church were destroyed in the first years during Ottoman rule, the gold-covered iconostasis has survived today and is a superb example of baroque woodcarving. Saint Lazarus came to Cyprus after being resurrected by Jesus. He was ordained as Bishop of Kition by the Apostles Barnabas and Paul and lived in the town for 30 years. His tomb can be seen under the sanctuary. The saint is so revered that a procession is held in his honour eight days before Easter. During the procession, the icon of Saint Lazarus is carried through the streets of Larnaka. Next to the church is the Byzantine Museum, which exhibits important religious icons, artefacts and relics.”

“Walk around the lake along the linear trail, approx. 4 km, to the old aqueduct of Kamares. Go back the same way, and visit the Hala Sultan Tekkesi mosque. Do the walk, preferably in winter as the place is the home to migrating birds, including flamingos.”
