“Vancouver's only First Nations restaurant. Salmon and Bannock specialize in wild fish, free range game meat and of course bannock, which is baked fresh daily. They use traditional ingredients that they prepare and present in a modern way. Acknowledging the Traditional Territories of the Coast Salish Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil Waututh First Nations, this small casual bistro welcomes everybody as they are. In the spirit of First Nations' traditions, their intention is to provide a gathering place where the focus is on the people and the food. Reservations recommended. Usually #1 on Trip Advisor. ”

“It's across the street! Terrific views of the inlet and mountains to the North. See the sunset or rise on the towers of downtown to the west. Watch dogs play fetch while kids play on the swings. Beautiful heritage building with a community room in the basement. Tennis courts are usually available if you fancy a game. Be sure to look up in the trees where you'll always see birds and sometimes an eagle family that hangs out.”

“Robson Street is packed with stores and restaurants, from Granville Street to Jervis Street. Home to over 100 shops, it's also the epicenter of Downtown Vancouver's shopping district. Within short walking distance of Robson are the department stores The Bay(Hudson Bay Company), Nordstrom and Holt Renfrew as well as the only mall in Downtown Vancouver, the indoor Pacific Centre (at Robson and Granville). One block north of Robson Street--and running parallel to it--is Alberni Street, home to high-end luxury brands like Gucci and Christian Dior (sometimes referred to as Vancouver's "Luxury Zone"). Altogether, Robson Street, Alberni Street, and the Downtown department stores make up the Downtown Vancouver shopping district. Boasting a truly diverse array of shops, Robson Street and the stores around it offer fashion for everyone and every budget. Looking for inexpensive shoes? There's an Aldo on Robson Street. Looking for shoes to make you drool? There's a Ferragamo on Hornby and Robson. ”
