Te Papa is an amazing museum & one of the best free, indoor, kid-friendly things to do. You can easily spend two days going through here.

You have to go here. It's the Te Papa. And it's free. Check out the earthquake shack, the giant squid and the Maraes upstairs.

A great way to spend a rainy day! This is our national museum - lots of free things to see and there is always a couple of special exhibitions on as well. The recent ANZAC display is worth a visit.
