A lovely place to walk/jog/ enjoy some history. Just roaming the island and swimming and having a picnic is free. To attend the old cottages (museum) there is a fee. Superb views!

An island in Töölö with an outdoor museum, cafes and beautiful paths to stroll. You can also sunbathe and take a dip in the sea on the island!

Some ancient Finnish vibes here. It if free. Use the bridge to go there. No bikes or cars allowed. It is a quite small island so you can easily explore the whole island. There is places to go swimming or picnicking.

You can catch the bus no 24 to Seurasaari. I usually pack a picnic and fry sausages in the open fire after walking around the island. City provides the fire wood. There’s a small kiosk serving hot drinks, bakeries and selling meat sausages for the fire, and a couple of cafés, with pretty unpredictable opening hours 😀
