A lovely area for a stroll around the gardens that surround the ruined chateau. Interesting history and fantastic views of the surrounding area.

11C castle ruins. The town and keep was a powerful place for the Norman dukes in the 11th and 12th centuries. Loads of information at the tourist information and guided walks around the town.
