Wonderful restaurant that has been consistently excellent for more than 40 years. Wonderful ambience for a special occasion. It is in a beautiful (difficult to find!) location.

Good food both indoor and outdoor (lovely garden). Bit of a drive (33 minutes) but nice countryside and great for a weekend lunch. Raymond Blanc says it’s his favourite Sunday lunch spot. Praise indeed.
