Fresh fish and shellfish. The carabinieri – giant red prawns – are a must, split open and charcoal-grilled, but so too is the sea bass, the sole and the local clams, cooked in white wine and garlic, bulhão pato style. To get here you need to walk across a long wooden bridge, with views across the Ria Formosa lagoon, a sure way to work up an appetite.

-MUST HAVE DINING EXPERIENCE- From Portuguese Lisboners to Tourists alike this restaurant is the stand-alone experience of seafood by the beach. The fish is just divine and the memory of it doesn't leave you! Outside seating under umbrellas, the staff is always making it just as enjoyable as everything else at Gigi.

Seafood! It's pricey but an icon of Quinta do Lago...relax over a long lunch by the dunes and beach with fresh catch and a bottle of wine....

One of the best beach restaurants in the Algarve. It looks like a no frills beach cabana but is full of politicians and jetsets. Expect at least €50/person. Choose from the fresh fish on display. Tiger prawns are amazing!
