If you're coming to Metro Detroit in the fall, I'd recommend going to one of the local Cider Mills. It wasn't until I moved to Florida for a few years that I really appreciated these Michigan treats. My favorite Cider Mill is Yates. It's about 30 min away from my Airbnb, but it's worth the drive…

A historic treasure --- dating back to 1863 and one of the oldest running businesses in the state of Michigan! This is a must see and it's only 5 minutes away. (Cider Mill doughnuts cannot be beat!)
