Friendly pub with good food, and Tempest ales now a major craft brewery started by previous landlord/lady. Dog friendly, and when conditions allow, Friday night folk club after 10pm.

Best pub in town. Great food matched with their own locally-brewed beers. Also a good option if you'd just like drop in for a drink or two. Local knowledge tip: Show up later on a Friday night and you'll be treated to a live music session or two offered up by local performers.

The History Tucked away in a quiet corner, just off Kelso’s town square, you will find The Cobbles; a modernised 19th century coaching inn. The Cobbles is the brewery tap for one of Scotland’s most progressive breweries, Tempest Brewing Co. At the Cobbles, Tempest beers are available in cask, keg and bottle.
