This is more than just the sight of the landing of Alcock and Brown on the first ever transatlantic flight , it is also the sight of the Marconi station where the first ever trans Atlantic wireless communications were transmitted from. Well worth a visit lovely walk also around the sight again lovely flora and fauna, the birds and flowers the wetlands and the sheep. Nice walk with children also very manageable and lots of information along the trail.

Excellent loop walk. Plenty of well presented information along the way. Easy surface to walk along.

Fantastic centre here called Discovery Point. Huge historic walk on a very safe path through the bog. You will enjoy this. Free as well!

This place has always captured my imagination! The landing site for the first transatlantic flight. I often wonder what those amazing men must have thought when they lander here!!!!

Immerse yourself in history at this Wild Atlantic Way stop. Guglielmo Marconi had his first commercial transatlantic wireless station site here. Alcock & Brown landed at this site on the first nonstop transatlantic flight in their Vickers Vimy plane.
