You can drive or hike up to the summit of Mount Holyoke for a panoramic view of the area, including mountain ranges in VT and NH and the historic Summit House is worth a visit as well.

A favorite hike in the area. If you are up for a little exercise, we recommend the trail that starts off of Old Mountain Rd (one way, dirt road). Trail head is on right side. You take route 47 to Old Mountain Rd. Trail is about 3.5miles round trip.

Terrific 300 degree view of the Pioneer Valley from a wrap around balcony attached to the former (1900's) Summit House hotel. Can hike up to the summit, or drive and park. Sometimes you can spot an eagle. Summit House also offers a summertime music series.

The most stunning views of the entire valley around. You can either drive up or hike up--but the hike is steep. Lovely, but steep.
