Easy walking hike, Great Views of Storm King, Bull Hill & Breakneck Mountain from this location. West Point Military academy is also visible from this location. Sandy Beach located on the north side of Little Stoney point is a great place to relax in the sand and have a picnic.

You won't think you're in the Caribbean, but it's a sweet little beach and just very close to Beacon. If you're lucky enough to go at an "off-peak" time, you could find yourself almost alone. Weekends get crowded, but that's because it's such a unique and surprisingly great place for some nature/hanging out/tanning/viewing the Hudson (swimming no longer allowed).

Little Stony Point (LSP) is within walking distance from Riverview Retreat and offers breathtaking views of the Hudson river and surrounding mountains. There are two beaches for sunbathing, where it is relaxing to watch ships, trains, boats and the inspiring view. LSP leads to other hiking trails close by.

Get right up and personal with the Hudson River. Swimming at your own risk. No lifeguards, but a beautiful spot to sit and watch the boats go by!
