Northwest residents will be familiar with Freddy’s, but for guests from farther afield, this is quality one-stop shopping at its best. They have pretty nearly everything. I especially love their unparalleled selection of groceries—including a massive natural and organic section, but they also have clothes, electronics, hardware, garden supplies, jewelry, housewares, sporting goods, toys, baby stuff, a bank, an in-house Starbucks, a lot of stuff that I am probably forgetting, and the best gas prices in town. And they open early and close late.
