An enjoyable visit for any age, local families love to visit the wildlife park to enjoy their range of animals and great play area. They have various talks throughout the day and often extra activities during school holidays.

The only zoo actually in the Lake District, it's a medium sized zoo with a good selection of animals.

Just a short drive from Cockermouth you will find The Lake District Wildlife Park, a lovely family day out for the little ones, including bird of prey displays and adventure play park.

A nice easy drive and day out - something to do whilst waiting for the adrenalin junkies to complete the Go Ape trail!
