Live music on Friday and Saturdays...A local favorite. Great menu...reasonable prices and in my humble opinion the best patio in town!

“Handicraft House is a popular destination for locals as well as visitors. It’s located north of Wiarton. They offer a wide array of Canadian crafted goods from preserves to leather and suede, slippers, bird houses, soaps, the list goes on! Their products are always a unique find. They also have a flea market on Sundays.”

“In Hepworth on your way up the Bruce, Suntrail is an excellent store for all adventure outfits, kayaking, canoeing, skiing, and snowshoeing. A great place for rentals or for planning day trips. ”

“Just on its own, this bakery is a must-see! Do not under-estimate its size! The food is amazing, sometimes you'll get veggie pizza, sometimes bean burritos, plus you can't leave the peninsula without trying one of their pies! This bakery is situated on very interesting grounds where you can enjoy some small hikes. ”

“he Circle Arts story began in 1969 when Gale Jensen - a professor of Social Sciences at the University of Michigan - persuaded six students of the Ontario College of Art (OCA) to build an art gallery and studio on land he owned in Tobermory, Ontario. The group stayed in the small town on the picturesque Bruce Peninsula for the summer, producing oil paintings, watercolours, wood block prints, sculptures, silk screens, textiles, jewelry and pottery. They returned to Toronto to finish their studies at the end of the summer, then moved to Tobermory permanently the following spring. The Circle Arts story encompasses elements of its times and locales. It is the story of youthful enthusiasm and artistic maturity, local involvement and global markets, sound business sense and high creativity. More than anything else, it is the story of a commitment to Canadian art, and to those who produce and support it. ”

“OUR STORY (Cash Only) Green Door Café has been a local staple for over 12 years. The current Owners as of May 2017 are Brittany Hutchison and Justin Lahey - Partners in all life's adventures for almost 15 years, with 34 combined years of experience in the Hospitality industry. We are so very excited to bring our partnership and passion for food & community to "the basecamp of the Bruce Peninsula!". In 2020 when the pandemic hit, Green Door made many changes to try to adapt. By Fall of 2020 we finally landed on a fresh new concept which involved cutting down indoor seating and adding a market section with local fresh produce, baked goods, ready-made take home meals, local and handcrafted jewelry and many other locally made products that we are so proud to be carrying! Although it has been a very difficult time for so many we are grateful for the silver linings the changes have pushed us towards. In particular the new (and old but strengthened) connections we have made with some of the most talented and creative spirits in our community. We are grateful for The Bruce Peninsula and the people who make it magical! 563 BERFORD STREET WIARTON ONTARIO N0H 2TO FREE PARKING AT BACK”
