Once encompassing an entire city block, HCMC's Ky Dong Church has been downsized. However, the compound is still broad and boasts a school, religious souvenir shop and garden. As it may not be worth a special trip, only visit if you are already in the area or have some time on your hands. During Catholic mass, the church is packed with worshippers. Around Saigon there are a few Catholic churches, due in no small part to the influence of the French. Ky Dong Church offers HCMC residents and the travelling faithful the opportunity to attend a Catholic mass. The church's architecture is worth bringing a camera along.
