“Foxy John's is a crazy place but a must do- because it is half an Irish pub, and half a hardware store and bike hire at the top of Main Street in Dingle, Ireland. Bike hire includes helmet, bicycle locks, maps and friendly advice and is available for one or more days”

“If you like long sandy beaches, beauty and quaint little villages... this is a cutie. Lovely places to see all around this area. Drive to Spillanes for a pint and a meal during high summer (only open for dinner 1 September - 30 Nov). Keep driving and you will arrive at the pier with lots of boats and fishermen, if you go for a walk around the top of the pier you will see the 7 hogs islands known as the Maharees.... gorgeous indeed. Food also available at Gregorys Cafe, in Castlegregory and a few little shops plus a supermarket... ”

“The Bean in Dingle crew is the best in the business. This is a place for coffee lovers. Their House Blend (An Fear Marbh) and Colombian blend (which they brew themselves in their local roastery) are amazing. Everything inside the walls of Bean is well thought out and subtle (you can buy their various coffee blends in beautiful yellow tins CLASS!) a tidy menu for quick bites and a vast selection of sweet and savoury snacks. The place opens at 8 and closes at 5. If you can't find a seat, get your order to go and take it across the road to the gardens of An Díseart. ”

“Excellent museum about life on the Blasket Islands, which were inhabited until the late 1940s. The building was designed to be sympathetic to the beautiful surroundings. Good to visit here in advance of a trip to the islands.”
