Nice sized zoo in baranquilla showcases many animals found in the amazon and around the world. Zoologica de Barranquilla is located in Barranquilla, Colombia and close to many places of the city. This is definitely a weekend family entertainment place. Entrance fee is approximately 5 USD. As said, with more than 450 animals from the 5 continents, the Zoologica de Barranquilla is the only one on the Carribean coast and on of the best in South America. Visited this place on a rainy day afternoon and rain didn’t stop me clicking the pictures of the animals here. Some of them I have seen first time.
