Fig Tree bay is notable due to it's blue flag status and it's name is due to the trees planted in the vicinity. It's pristine waters waters and sandy beaches have made this serene beech a tourism favourite in the area. The bay is characterised by a couple of local family taverns which date back to the days when Protaras was a village. There is ample public parking as well as a lovely coastal pedestrian / cycling coastal path which is always buzzing with activity especially during dusk and dawn.

A beautiful sandy beach that is voted as one of the best 25 beaches in Europe by Trip Advisor's Traveller's Choice. Can easily get there with bus 102 from the Bus Stop situated about 100 m from Villa Sofi. Get there early in the morning as it gets very busy. We also love to go there after 5.00pm and stay until late to enjoy the sunset while swimming.
