One of the best libraries in AR. Huge children’s section. Lots of sitting areas. Next door is Hattie’s House with a well-appointed and well-lit playground.

We love visiting our local library. They offer large assortment of literature, a very informative geneology department, a very nice children's library and meeting room with wi-fi access. Youth summer activity and reading programs are held weekly and are free to all. The adjacent park/playground offers a fenced area with lots of outdoor recreation oppotunity for kids and is part of the Hattie House Youth Center, a space dedicated to area kids. The Hattie House has a board game room, ping pong and air hockey table, arts and crafts room and offers snacks to children after 3pm. Youth under 9 must be accopanied by an adult. There is no cost or membership required to attend this facility.
