near Kingscote, lunch only, absolutely delicious organic pizza in a quirky former nursery/ truck depo (!). A great stop if you're heading further afield to Remarkable Rocks, or to some of the wineries located past Kingscote.

733 Playford highway on the left heading to Cygnet River Fresh made pizza with local produce, Fresh Coffee, and beautiful Cheesecake the specialty in a garden setting.

A hidden gem, located on the same property as Ugly Dog Transport. A nursery, flower shop & cafe with eclectic pieces all around, with a simple menu of pizza & salads. A funky space to kick back and relax in.

This delightful café is a short drive from Kingscote. The cafe is housed in an ordinary looking shed that belies the innovative interior with walls adorned with an eclectic and clever collection of all manner of memorabilia. All very welcoming and especially cosy in winter. The food and drinks are delicious and the hostess /owner Linda, offers a friendly service where you are encouraged to sit and linger instead of feeling pressured to move on when you put down the mug. A huge bay type window from an older mansion has been incorporated in the end wall and guests have a view to a glorious nursery. Only caveat: keep your eyes peeled for the sign as the cafe is set back from the highway as you definitely don't want to miss this stop
